This cool pool feature is just one of the many luxuries offered by the area's most expensive properties.
"You walk down five or six steps into this circular seating area, which is great for hanging out, talking and having a glass of wine," says Joel Schemmel, listing agent for Premier Sotheby's International Realty." It's one of the really interesting elements of the outdoor space.
"You also have a huge swim-up bar on one side where you can swim to bar stools in the water, and a bar on the other two sides where people can sit on bar stools," Schemmel continues.
Outdoor fun does come with a hefty price tag. The waterfront palace is listed at $22 million and is being sold furnished.
The expansive space with its unique design elements was built for Florida living.
The indoor and outdoor spaces blend together, and you have all these little vignettes of different spaces outside that make it interesting," says Schemmel, "It's just a little bit surprising." You have a small living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a dining pavilion with a large living wall on one side."
A koi pond meanders around most of the outdoor space.
"The colour of the water in the koi pond, the colour of the water in the pool and the colour of the water in the bay are very similar, so it looks like a piece of glass walking into the bay," Schemmel explains.
Built in 2016, the home has a total area of 8,138 square feet with striking details in every room.
"What's interesting about it is things like wall coverings, which you don't usually see very often. They're kind of the centrepiece as you walk from room to room," Schemmel explains." Each room has a different energy, but it's all super unique, and each room is curated to have a certain energy."
There are four bedrooms and four full bathrooms.
"It's a big house, but it's also comfortable," says Schemmel, who adds that the original owners didn't need many bedrooms and preferred multiple entertaining spaces.
The current sellers are the second owners, who bought the place in 2019 for $10,500,000.
"You have that amazing outdoor bar, but you also have this crazy indoor bar with Jurassic stones and onyx on top. All the space flows into entertaining."
Other amenities include a double island kitchen, game room, home theatre, fitness area and meditation room, according to the listing.
The 1.4-acre lot has 700 feet of water frontage. There is a dock with access to deep water, as well as a kayak and paddleboard launch.
"The dock is set up nicely. There's already a boat lift there, but you could definitely put in a bigger one," Schemmel said.
"It's a really nice spot on the north end of Siesta Island and I think you're shocked when you first see it because it's hidden. You don't even know it's there until the gates open and you enter the peninsula," Schemmel said." It has a majestic feel to it."
