17922 Hilltop Dr, Grey Forest, TX

Price: $1,390,000

This resort in the Texas mountains is small in size, but it has a lot of design.

Designed by disciples, the cozy, one-bedroom, one-bathroom, 870-square-foot house has many of Wright's signature hallmarks, including window walls, open floor plans, natural wood trim and exposed beams.

It sits on a 2-acre lot, so there's plenty of room for a swimming pool, koi pond, grape tylons and fruit trees.

In addition, the property has an income-generating cottage.

Charlies Ln 2 Shelter Island, Shelter Island, NY

Price: $13,950,000

This beachfront property in West Neck Harbor was originally designed by Wright's disciple Bertrand Goldberg.

In Wright's seminal style, it features natural materials such as stone and wood throughout.

It was rebuilt and expanded in 2002.

The single-story, 6,000-square-foot home has been updated with modern amenities, including hot stone floors, a media room, an exercise room, an eating kitchen with a midisland and a main wing with water views. Now there are six bedrooms.

The 3.5-acre lot includes 410-foot waterfront, an impressive 250-foot dock, a heated pool, and a 22,000 gallon underground reservoir.

2920 Coastal Drive, Sarasota Bay, Florida

Price: $765,000

The building's design is Organic modern, featuring stone walls, fenestrated Windows, a butterfly roof and a beamed ceiling with skylights.

Built in 1940, the home has a cottage aesthetic with teak, cypress and black walnut finishes.

Interesting details include a Dutch door with stained glass.

As a bonus, there is a guesthouse on half an acre of land.

It has a bedroom, a studio, a small bathroom and a kitchenette.

530 Plymouth Street, Worthington

Price: $749,000

The iconic walnut shelving in the house, which has been described as a "mid-century Ussenia house."

It was built in 1969 by Ted Van Fossen, one of Wright's students.

The house has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in 2,252 square feet of living space.

There are multiple decks where you can enjoy vibrant foliage and a babbling stream.

The house abuts the hillside and has three levels down.

Although surrounded by forest and private, the site is only 15 minutes from Columbus.

200-A Sunnyside Road, Inverness, California

Price: $27 million

The unusual home was built by architect Daniel Liebermann, who worked with Wright on the Marin Civic Center and then went his own way, creating crescent-shaped sustainable homes like this one.

Built in 2008, the two radial-framed buildings feature an unusual open plan at the entrance to the Inverness Ridge Trail in Northern California.

The listing says there is a bedroom and a bathroom in 1,400 square feet of living space.
